CES 3609 - Film Wardrobe

Learn the basic skills that can get you a job in the wardrobe department of a major motion picture or at a TV studio. Content includes basic on set skills and etiquette, continuity, costume preparation, proper dressing room behavior, and some basic sewing skills with short cuts. Learn advanced necessary skills to be a wardrobe supervisor and/or an assistant. We will cover inventory and organizing of costumes, working with extras, scene tracking, building a basic and advanced kit, fittings and some basic alterations, pre and post-production tasks. Previous basic sewing skills are helpful, but not required. All necessary supplies and materials will be provided and are included in the course cost.*
