CES 3575 - Flameworking Borosilicate Glass & You
|
|
|
Work with borosilicate glass (commonly called Pyrex). Using a tubing rod and a torch learn to produce small objects. Enjoy weekly projects that include marbles, spinning toy tops, pendants, and beads while exploring various decorative methods while gaining skills working with the tubing. Develop an ongoing awareness of the safety ramifications of working with glass. Even get information about developing a flameworking studio of your own! Wear closed-toe shoes, a 100 percent cotton or natural fiber long-sleeved shirt and long pants. Please, no synthetic clothing. The class location is in Plymouth, Michigan.
