CES 3153 - Oil Painting

Create your own oil paintings! In a studio setting learn Alla Prima painting techniques, color mixing, composition and handling of the medium. Explore various subjects and styles, while experiencing a combination of individual and group instruction, with reviews. Some drawing experience is helpful. A supply list will be given at the first class. Please bring the following materials to the first session: oil colors - yellow, blue and red, bristle brush #4, canvas board or canvasette 12" x 16", rags, a can and ODORLESS THINNER (only odorless turpentine can be used in class).*
