CES 2432 - Farmers Market Tour & Cooking Experience: Hands-on

Take a unique culinary tour of Michigan's harvest - by foot - without ever leaving Ann Arbor! Stroll through Ann Arbor's Farmers Market with Master Chef Jeff Gabriel, learning about the myriad of summer fruits, vegetables and organic offerings available locally. Once you've selected your favorites, return to Schoolcraft's state-of-the-art kitchens and prepare an unforgettable vegetarian lunch. Meet outside of the People's Food Co-op at 8:00 AM. Do an Internet search of People's Food Co-op Ann Arbor for directions. Close parking is limited. Come early for the best parking opportunities. Prerequisite: CES 2187 Cooking 101: Skill Development or with chef's approval.*
