Online Course Specific Requirements

The following online courses have specific requirements in addition to the general computer system requirements:

Requirements for On-campus Assessments

  • ACCT 201 requires 1 on-site exam.
  • ACCT 202 requires 1 on-site exam.
  • CAP 102 requires 1 on-site exam.
  • ENGR 201 requires 3 proctored exams.
  • ENGR 202 requires 3 proctored exams.
  • ENGR 203 requires 4 proctored exams.
  • MATH 047 requires 5 on-site exams.
  • MATH 053 requires 7 on-site exams.
  • MATH 101 requires 5 on-site exams.
  • MATH 113 requires 6 on-site exams.

Software Requirements

  • CIS 120 requires Microsoft Office 2007 (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
  • CIS 225 requires Microsoft Office 2007.
  • ENG 200 requires Windows Media Player 10 or higher.
  • OIS 100 uses software that comes with the textbook that only runs on Windows PCs. Mac users will need Windows emulation.
  • OIS 165 requires Microsoft Office 2007.
  • OIS 265 requires Microsoft Office 2007.

Equipment Requirements

  • BUS 120 requires you to submit a digital video of a sales presentation. This can be accomplished with a device capable of recording digital video such as a web or digi-cam.
  • CAB 101 may require you to submit digital video of an oral presentation. This can be accomplished with a device capable of recording digital videos such as a webcam.
  • COMA 103 requires you to submit digital video of speeches. This can be accomplished with a device capable of recording digital video such as a webcam.
  • ENG 100 requires you to submit digital video of oral presentations. This can be accomplished with a device capable of recording digital video such as a webcam.
  • MT 108 requires Wav foot pedal and a headset.
  • SPAN 101 requires a microphone and either speakers or a headset.
  • SPAN 102 requires a microphone and either speakers or a headset.
