Online Course Specific Requirements

The following online courses have specific requirements in addition to the general computer system requirements:

Requirements for On-campus Assessments

  • CAP 102 requires 1 on-site exam.
  • MATH 047 requires 5 on-site exams.
  • MATH 053 requires 7 on-site exams.
  • MATH 101 requires 5 on-site exams.
  • MATH 111 requires 5 on-site exams.
  • MATH 113 requires 5 on-site exams.
  • MATH 122 requires 2 on-site exams.

Software Requirements

  • CIS 120 requires Microsoft Office 2010 Pro or Microsoft University 2010 (Word, Excel, Access & PowerPoint). SNAP 2010 (Online Assessment & Training Tool) does "NOT" work on MACs.
  • CIS 120 Sec 142344 (only) requires Microsoft Office 2013 Pro or Microsoft University 2013 (Word, Excel, Access, & PowerPoint. SNAP 2013 (Online Assessment & Training Tool does “NOT” work on MACs.
  • CIS 180 requires Microsoft Excel 2010.
  • ENG 200 requires Windows Media Player 10 or higher.
  • Geog 133 requires Wiley Plus.
  • OIS 100 uses software that comes with the textbook that only runs on Windows PCs. Mac users will need Windows emulation.
  • OIS 165 requires Microsoft Office 2010.
  • OIS 265 requires Microsoft Office 2010.

Equipment Requirements

  • BUS 120 requires you to submit a digital video of a sales presentation. This can be accomplished with a device capable of recording digital video such as a web or digi-cam.
  • CAB 101 may require you to submit digital video of an oral presentation. This can be accomplished with a device capable of recording digital videos such as a webcam.
  • CIS 115 requires you to submit assignments containing photographs that you have taken. This can be accomplished with a device capable of taking a picture such as a digital camera or cell phone.
  • COMA 103 requires you to submit digital video of speeches. This can be accomplished with a device capable of recording digital video such as a webcam.
  • ENG 100 requires you to submit digital video of oral presentations. This can be accomplished with a device capable of recording digital video such as a webcam.
  • ENG 116 requires you to submit digital video of oral presentations. This can be accomplished with a device capable of recording digital video such as a webcam.
  • FR 101 requires a microphone and either speakers or a headset.
  • FR 102 requires a microphone and either speakers or a headset.
  • GER 101 requires a microphone and either speakers or a headset.
  • HS 101 requires a microphone and either speakers or a headset.
  • MT 108 requires Wav foot pedal and a headset.
  • SPAN 101 requires a microphone and either speakers or a headset.
  • SPAN 102 requires a microphone and either speakers or a headset.
