Students are expected to adhere to all published course pre-requisite requirements. This will ensure they are mastering the needed skills in the proper sequence to be successful.
The College limits the number of times a student can take a course.
- Students may attempt a course up to 4 times.
- Prior to the 4th attempt they must get approval from their counselor or advisor prior to registering. No further attempts will be allowed.
- Grades from 0.0 to 4.0 are counted as attempt for the purposes of the course repeat limits. Grades of NS, I, or W do not count toward the 4 attempts.
- The most recent attempt is used to calculate the Schoolcraft GPA, even if a previous attempt has a higher grade.
