Schoolcraft College International Institute has initiated an international cookbook project that features the favorite international dishes of the students, faculty and staff of Schoolcraft College. The Cookbook is available for sale at the Schoolcraft College Bookstore.

International Agenda Newsletter

International Agenda, official newsletter of the Schoolcraft College International Institute (SCII), is published twice yearly, at the beginning of Fall and Winter semesters. The newsletter was founded in 1996 by Donald A. Ryktarsyk (Business Department), who remained editor until 1998. Publication was revived in January 2004 by the current editor, Randy K. Schwartz (Mathematics Department).

International Agenda advances the SCII mission by providing a campus-wide forum for the exchange of information and perspectives related to international education. The key types of items included are:

  • Brief or in-depth reports from members of the campus community concerning the course activities, conferences, study trips, publications, and other educational activities in which they are engaged in international and intercultural studies
  • Examples of Schoolcraft student papers and artwork related to global concerns
  • News and opinion pieces about issues and approaches relevant to international education
  • Brief or in-depth reviews of books, videotapes, and other relevant resources
  • Reports and summaries of programs and initiatives sponsored by the International Institute
  • A calendar of relevant campus, community and regional events.

All instructors, staff and students are encouraged to submit articles, information and announcements for the newsletter. Submission deadlines are mid-August and mid-December.
