Registration Information and Registration Worksheet

Note: Payment is due the day you register. If you do not pay the day you register, you will be dropped from your classes for nonpayment.

Online Registration

Online registration is available to students through WebAdvisor. To access this service, you will need a Schoolcraft College student number, user ID, and password. New students can view their user ID by selecting “I'm New to WebAdvisor” on the WebAdvisor homepage. Returning students who have forgotten their user ID can select “What's my user ID” located on the WebAdvisor homepage.

Need a Hand with Registration?

You can visit or call the Admissions and Enrollment Center. The Center has computers available for student use and helpful staff who would be happy to help you learn how to use WebAdvisor to register for your classes.

Schedule Adjustments

Schedule adjustment will take place during the week that classes begin. Students cannot use WebAdvisor to register once the course is full or has already met for the first time.

Note: No refunds are issued after the last day of the schedule adjustment period. Refund deadlines vary depending on the length of the section and when it begins.

  • Late Entry: Students wishing to enter a class after it has met for the first time need written approval from the instructor, even if seats are available. Not all instructors accept late entry; OE/OE courses cannot be added after the last day for OE/OE registration.

  • Overload: Students who want to try and overload into a full class can attempt to do so from the time the class starts through the end of the schedule adjustment period. Students must obtain written approval from the instructor to overload. Not all instructors accept overloads.

How to get overload/late entry consent

  1. Contact the instructor. A Faculty and Academic Directory is on the Web site under the Quick Links tab.

  2. Obtain consent in one of the two ways described below (you do not need to get consent in a hard copy signature and via email):

    • Instructors can email you directly, or us at registration@schoolcraft.edu, from their Schoolcraft email account.
      OR
    • Get an overload/late entry form from the Admissions and Enrollment Center and have your instructor sign it.
  3. Register for your class(es) by bringing the consent to the Admissions and Enrollment Center within two business days of receipt to enroll. If your instructor issued consent via email, please print the email which shows the sent address and bring it with you.
