Free concerts at Schoolcraft College July 26-28

Alicia Doudna, violin and Julia Siciliano, piano, to perform July 26

Renowned artists Alicia Doudna, on violin, and Julia Siciliano, on piano, will perform Monday, July 26 at 7 p.m. in the Forum Building Recital Hall on Schoolcraft College’s main campus in Livonia, Haggerty Road between Six and Seven Mile Roads.
This free concert will feature works by Antonin Dvorak, Leos Janacek, George Gerswhin and Maurice Ravel.

“Rumplestiltskin” Backpack Opera for Children July 27 & 28

Members of the Schoolcraft College Choral Union will present "Rumpelstiltskin" a backpack opera for children based upon the classic Grimm Brothers' fairytale. The thirty-minute opera will be performed on Tuesday, July 27 and Wednesday, July 28 at 7:30 pm in the Presentation Room of the VisTaTech Center on the college’s main campus in Livonia, Haggerty Road between Six and Seven Mile Roads. Admission is free for both fun-loving children and adults alike.
