Please encourage your students to pick up the trio of Pro & Con Monthly publications that are available in our Browse and Back Issues sections of our Periodicals Area in the Library. Congressional Digest, International Debates, and Supreme Court Debates offer timely topics and arguments from both
the pro- and con- perspectives.

In the February 2009 issue of International Debates, Schoolcraft’s congressman, the Honorable Thaddeus G. McCotter, offers his views on Lifting Cuba’s Sanctions. The articles and the arguments are brief and easily readable, and are ideal for writing reference or group discussion.
