Paying for college
“I can’t afford college.”
“I’m too old to get financial aid.”
“I have a paying job so I’m not eligible for financial aid.”
If any of the above sounds familiar, be advised: It isn’t true. Schoolcraft’s tuition is half the average tuition at a public Michigan University. Federal financial aid is available to adult students, not just to 18-year-old college freshman. And federal aid is only part of the picture. Schoolcraft College, and the Schoolcraft College Foundation, both fund numerous grants and scholarships that are given to eligible students whose needs are not met through federal aid
Make the FAFSA your first move
Don’t wait, don’t hesitate. Apply today for federal financial aid, either in person at the Financial Aid office or online at www.fafsa.ed.gov, and be sure to select Schoolcraft on the form. The federal government will send a letter to Schoolcraft’s Financial Aid office describing your eligibility for aid. We will use this letter to determine your eligibility for all of the forms of aid described above.
