Plymouth Symphony Players with Nan Washburn

Plymouth Symphony

Under the leadership of nationally acclaimed Music Director and Conductor, Nan Washburn, members of the Plymouth Symphony Orchestra will perform at Schoolcraft College.

The Plymouth Canton Symphony Society has been the recipient of numerous awards including four ASCAP awards for Adventuresome Programming. Most recently, the PCSS received grants from the Kresge Foundation and National Endowment for the Arts for support of the annual Fusion Festival, a weekend-long program celebrating musical diversity in Canton.

Music Director Nan Washburn is one of the most innovative and dynamic conductors working in the United States today. For her engaging performances and fresh approach to concert programming, critics have hailed her work as having "perspicacity, nerve, imagination and all-around savvy."
