Materials for Online Courses

As soon as the registration process is complete, it is the student’s responsibility to obtain required textbooks and other course materials as specified.

Books and Study Guides

All required textbooks and study guides are available for purchase at the Schoolcraft College Bookstore. If you choose to order your books online from our bookstore, use the order forms available in the printed version of the Schoolcraft College Current Schedule of Classes.

Videotapes

Some online courses use videotapes. Videotapes may be picked up at the Bradner Library at orientation. If you are unable to attend orientation, tapes will be mailed to you the first week of class.

What to Expect

Distance Learning classes often have special instructions regarding course work which are discussed in depth at the orientation session. Orientation sessions are held on campus the first Saturday of each semester. Call the Distance Learning Office, (734) 462-4532, for specific information regarding the time and location of the “hands-on” orientation session.

Course information will be mailed during the first week of class to all students who were unable to attend the Orientation session.
