Kids on Campus celebrates 30th Anniversary; register now for a summer of fun

Registration is going on now for Kids on Campus programs that begin July 13.  Kids on Campus 2009 will feature a ‘summer camp’ format where each session will consist of an exciting week-long program centered on a particular subject. Sessions are offered for three weeks in July.

On Saturday, May 16, the Music Department of Schoolcraft College will host an Open House  spotlighting piano programs for children. The Open House will run from 1 - 4 p.m. in the Forum Building located on the college's main campus in Livonia, Haggerty Road between Six and Seven Mile Roads.

Golf Classic Fore Scholarships is June 1

Make plans now to participate in an enjoyable day of golf on Monday, June 1, for the annual Golf Classic Fore Scholarships at Walnut Creek Country Club in South Lyon. The day begins with registration at 10:30 a.m., a delicious buffet lunch in the clubhouse, shotgun start for 18 holes of outstanding golf at 1 p.m. and concludes with a dinner, awards ceremony and silent auction for some wonderful items at 6 p.m.

Senior Expo at Schoolcraft on May 19

Celebrate senior life at the sixth annual Senior Expo from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, in the VisTaTech Center at Schoolcraft College. More than 60 exhibitors, demonstrations, music and educational programs will be offered throughout the day. Free admission and free parking are available.

With the warm weather comes the motorcycle riding season. Before you jump on that motorcycle, however, you should consider taking a motorcycle safety course at Schoolcraft College. The fee for each class is $25.
