The Schoolcraft College Culinary Arts Department welcomes you to our student operated restaurant, the American Harvest. Our culinary arts program has received both national and international acclaim. Chef instructors and students have won many local, national and international competitions. Our student chefs and wait staff look forward to serving you.
The faculty includes four certified master chefs and seven certified executive chefs.

Breakfast Buffet
Culinary Art students prepare an elaborate breakfast with many wonderful choices. Stroll through the kitchen and make your selections Wednesday through Friday from 8:30 to 9:30 AM, September 2 through December 10. There will be no breakfast buffet September 25 - 30, October 1 - 2 and 30, November 4 - 6 and 25 - 27. The cost is $7 per person, one trip through the kitchen, please. Carry-out is not available.
Lunch Service
Savor a gourmet lunch prepared and served by Schoolcraft’s Culinary Art Students. The menu, which changes daily, includes freshly baked breads, soup, salad, a choice of entrée, and a selection from the tempting dessert table. All items on the menu are a la carte.
The American Harvest Restaurant will open Tuesday, September 1 and continue lunch service through Friday, December 11. There will be no lunch service September 29 - 30, October 1, November 3 - 5 and 24 - 27.

Dinner Service
Enjoy superb dining in a beautiful setting at reasonable prices.
Please join second-year students in the International and American Cuisine class, under the direction of Certified Executive Chef Shawn Loving, as they prepare American regional cuisine favorites. Fresh selections of favorite American entrees with delicious appetizers and seasonal soups will be offered.
Tuesday through Thursday - Entrees, a la carte, $12.95 - $19.95
Friday - An extravagant buffet featuring the cuisine of the week and American favorites, $26.95 per person
Wine and premium beers are available.
In addition to American favorites, cuisine from a different region of the world will be featured each week.

Dinners for the fall term begin Tuesday, September 1 and continue through Friday, December 11. There will be no dinner service September 16 and September 29-30, October 1, November 3 - 5 and November 24 - 27. Seatings begin at 5:30 PM. The schedule is subject to change.
