Evaluating Web Sites:
Meets Needs of Intended Audience

A Web Site should be written in language and include graphics that are appropriate for the Intended audience.

www.whitehousekids.gov is a fancy typeface that looks like something a kid would write

The font for the title that appears on President Bush's Kids Connection was picked because it looks as if it might have been drawn by an elementary school student and is very appropriate for the web site. If a similar graphic appeared on the White House's home page, it would set the wrong tone. These two pages were created for the same president but the audiences for the pages are different.
