Basic APA Format:
Three Levels of Headings

If you have three levels of headings in your paper, it should be typed using the following format:

Center First Level of Heading Using Upper and Lower Case Letters

Left Justify Second Level of Heading Using and Lower Case Letters; Italic Type

Indent third level of heading using all lower case letters; italic type; ending with a period.
