Connection to College

We must consider the overall quality of our students’ experiences on campus—and not just in our classrooms—“if the likelihood of cheating is to be minimized. (Ashworth and Bannister, 1997) Activities that decrease anonymity and increase community serve as deterrents to cheating. (McKenzie, 1998)

Therefore, the Schoolcraft College Student Activities Office might be one of the most valuable resources on campus to promote academic integrity. Under the direction of Sherry Springer, the Student Activities Office is located in W169 in the Waterman Campus Center.

To learn more about student activities at Schoolcraft College, you may e-mail Sherry Springer or telephone the office at 734-462-4422.

School Daze

School Daze is held each Fall semester and is a great way for Schoolcraft College students to learn more about clubs, organizations, and services available to them. School Daze takes place under a big tent located between the Liberal Arts Building and the Forum Building.

During Fall 2005, School Daze will be held from 10:00am-2:00pm on September 20-22 (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).

As a way to promote academic integrity, attending School Daze could be a valuable use of class time.

For more information about School Daze, please contact Todd Stowell.
