Electronic Portfolio Program
Mission
The Electronic Portfolio curriculum provides an excellent vehicle for demonstrating what students have acquired in the way of attitudes, knowledge, skills and abilities during their progress through their selected program of learning.
The focus of the EP curriculum and workbook is to help students emphasize what they have learned and are able to demonstrate; and the purpose of the portfolio is to provide the opportunity for students to demonstrate their individual skills guided by a series of fundamental requirements and their acquired skill competencies in the general education core requirements of the college.
Students are expected to demonstrate that they have acquired the attitudes, knowledge, skills and abilities of an educated person before leaving the institution to go on to further academic pursuits, into the work force or other choices.
The Electronic Portfolio Workbook, therefore, serves as a purposeful collection of the students' work, in digital form, designed to showcase their accomplishments and abilities for various audiences.
