Testing Lab Hours and Policies

All testing for the Open Entry/Open Exit program will be administered in the Open Entry/Open Exit Testing Lab, Biomedical Technology Center, room BTC120.

Winter 2019

Monday* 9:00am – 12:00pm and 1:00pm – 9:00pm
Tuesday* 9:00am – 12:00pm and 1:00pm – 9:00pm
Wednesday* 9:00am – 12:00pm and 1:00pm – 9:00pm
Thursday* 9:00am – 12:00pm and 1:00pm – 9:00pm
Friday* 8:00am – 12:00pm and 1:00pm – 5:00pm
Saturday 9:00am – 3:00pm
Sunday Closed

The last day for testing is Monday, April 29, 2019 by 9:00pm.

*The testing lab will close M-F from 12 - 1. Please note that you will not be permitted to pause a testing session at 12 and return at 1 to complete it. Please plan accordingly. 

The OE/OE Computer and Testing Labs will be closed:

  • Monday, January 21, 2019 for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
  • There are also no classes during Mid-term break, the OE/OE lab will be open with reduced hours:
    • Monday, March 4 - Thursday, March 7: 9 am - 12 pm and 1 pm - 6 pm.
    • Friday, March 8: 8 am - 5 pm.
    • Saturday, March 9: 9 am - 3 pm.
    • No Instructors will be present.

OE/OE Testing Policies

General Information

  • Photo identification is required for testing.
  • Food or beverages are not allowed in the testing center.
  • Cell phones and other electronics must be turned OFF and put away.
  • The testing lab will be closed M-F from 12-1.
  • Individuals may not be accompanied by anyone while testing.
  • There is zero tolerance for cheating. Any dishonesty associated with testing will cause termination of exam. Your instructor will be notified.
  • Tests cannot be started within ½ hour of closing.
  • Appropriate testing accommodations for students with documentation of special needs must be preapproved by Disability Support Services and communication must occur directly between the student and instructor prior to testing.

Specific Testing Process

  • Make sure that you have been given the correct test before beginning.
  • No talking during testing.
  • Test materials may not leave the testing center. They may not be printed, emailed, put on a flash drive, photographed, etc.
  • Only test aids approved by the instructor (books, notes, calculators) may be used during testing.
  • Do not write on the exam or detach pages unless you are told to do so by the Testing Administrator.
  • Scrap paper is available if needed and must be returned at the conclusion of the exam.
  • Unless specified by the instructor, an exam must be completed in one sitting. The Testing Administrator may also make exceptions in the case of an emergency.
  • Students must adhere to the testing and timing instructions as given by the Testing Administrator.
