Gerardo Ascheri is an active teacher, music advocate, arranger, soloist and chamber musician. He holds a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a doctoral degree in Musical Arts from Michigan State University where he studied with Ralph Votapek.
Dr. Frederick Moss, a Schoolcraft faculty member since 2002, has taught a variety of courses including Music for Elementary School Teachers, Music Appreciation, Popular Music in America, and Instrumental Music Performance. An accomplished clarinetist, Dr. Moss has performed on numerous solo and chamber music recitals. In addition, he has appeared on master classes with famous artists such as Richard Stoltzman and David Shifrin.
Barton Polot is a versatile instructor at Schoolcraft College where he teaches music theory and ear training, electronic music composition and is responsible for the music technology program. He is a widely-known national clinician, lecturer and author on applications of technology in music education.
The Noon concerts are free, open to the public and last approximately 1 hour.
