Course Description
This course develops creative freedom and control for designing sophisticated motion graphics and visual effects for film, video, multimedia and the Web. Students will integrate previously learned applications into motion-graphics using Adobe After Effect and/or related applications. Students will develop an understanding of motion control and keying capabilities plus audio and visual effects.

Corequisites
(A course recommended to be taken in the same semester as this course.)
Course Competencies
Upon successful completion of the course, the student should be able to:
- Define common computer graphic file formats and be able to integrate pixel and vector based graphic images with audio files.
- Discuss the parameters of tool sets and how they can modify image structures and object location.
- Demonstrate how audio and visual elements can be coordinated and synchronized to develop an emotion and/or impression.
- Work with track hierarchy, image fading and key frame development.
- Develop experience with motion settings and the control of actions within a frame structure.
- Discuss how to integrate these skills with multiple motion graphics media and high-end production suites.
