Spring & Summer 2008 Registration

Online Registration with WebAdvisor

Begins 8am, April 10, 2008 — you may register until the day before class meets.

Note: No registration May 26 & July 4. On May 8 & July 7, online registration will close at 7pm.

Now you can go online to search and register for classes. Credit card payment is required when registering via the Web. Please have your credit card information at hand. If you prefer to use check or cash, you may use our mail, fax or walk-in registration process. If you experience any problems registering via the Web, please contact the Admissions & Enrollment Center at (734) 462-4426, or email registration@schoolcraft.edu before attempting to proceed with your registration.

Touchtone Registration

Begins 8am, April 10, 2008 — you may register until the day before class meets.

You must have registered previously for Continuing Education and Professional Development classes at Schoolcraft College to take advantage of this registration option. Otherwise, you may register by mail, fax, in-person, or online. Touchtone registration will no longer be an available option for any Physical Fitness class or Non-Instructional activity listed on pages 33-45 of the printed schedule.

  • Read all of the registration instructions before dialing from a touchtone phone.
  • Call (734) 462-4803. The system will ask you to enter your Schoolcraft College student number or Social Security number and date of birth (example: June 15 is 0615). If there is a financial hold on your record, the system will not let you register at this time. Contact the appropriate office to resolve the problem and try again.
  • Enter the six-digit section number for each course. The system automatically identifies classes that are full or that will result in a time conflict.
  • Finalize your registration activity by pressing #6 (pound key then number 6).
  • Enter a valid VISA, MasterCard, or Discover credit card number, press the pound key (#), then enter the expiration date. If you do not have a credit card, you may prepay your tuition and fees at the Cashier’s Office during business hours, then register by phone. If you do not enter a credit card number or arrange to prepay your tuition, your schedule will be deleted from the system.
  • Finalize your phone transaction by pressing #6 (pound key then number 6).
  • Your registration is now complete. Confirmation of your class schedule and a record of your payment will be mailed to the address currently on file for you. Keep this schedule/receipt; it may be used as your student ID. Please review your class schedule carefully.

Please be aware that some cell phones and portable phones are not compatible with this system.

Touchtone Menu

During your transaction, you may access any function by pressing the pound key (#) plus one of the following keys:

  1. Add or register for a class
  2. Drop a class
  3. Review your schedule
  4. Delete total schedule
  5. Cancel current changes
  6. Finalize your schedule, receive your Account Receivable balance, and enter your credit card number followed by the pound key (#), then the expiration date

“#” (pound key) returns to main menu at any time.

Fax Registration

Begins 8am, April 10, 2008 — you may register until one week before class meets.

With a charge card number, you can fax your registration to (734) 462-4572. There is no need to use a cover sheet. If you think your fax was interrupted, please write “second try” or “refax” and resend the documents. Your registration and payment should be received at least one week before the class start date. Your receipt and class confirmation will be mailed to you. If you do not receive your course confirmation within one week, please call (734) 462-4448 to verify your enrollment.

Your fax must be received at least one week before the class start date.

Mail-in Registration

You also may use the drop boxes located at McDowell Center in Livonia and at Radcliff Center. Please include payment or sign the registration form if you are paying by credit card.

Walk-in Registration

Begins April 10, 2008

Hours: Monday & Thursday, 8am-7pm; Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, 8am-4pm

Note: No registration May 26 & July 4.

Extended hours May 5-15: Monday-Thursday, 8am-7pm; Friday 8am-4pm

Bring your completed registration form to the McDowell Center, Livonia campus. Course fees must be paid in full. The college accepts cash, checks, money orders, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and debit cards.
