ESL 3 - Conversation


Course Description

As a non-native speaker of English improve your speaking and listening skills. Learn about listening to, and understanding other people's ideas and how to share your own ideas with others. Come and enjoy using English, while increasing your vocabulary and improving your grammar skills. Prerequisite: successful completion of ESL 2 Speaking and Listening with a grade of 2.0, or eligibility to take ESL 3, or completion of the ESL Placement Test with a score of 66 or higher. The Testing Center in the McDowell Building requires no appointment, but you must bring your student ID number, a photo ID (e.g. driver's license, passport) and your current address (including zip code). Allow at least 2.5 hours for the test. Testing Center hours: Mon-Thurs 8am-7:30pm, Fri 8am-4:30pm, Sat 10am-2pm; call 734-462-4806 for more information.
