Change & Innovation in Ambulatory Healthcare
Nurses, office managers and support staff in the ambulatory healthcare environment will gain insight into change management techniques and strategies that can be implemented in the workplace. Participants will identify reasons for change in healthcare, discuss obstacles, review various change models and define innovative ways to evoke and sustain change. Experienced healthcare professionals from MPRO, Michigan Peer Review Organization, an independent, nonprofit organization and a national leader in health care quality improvement and medical review will present. This class is worth 3 continuing education contact hours for nurses.
