Six classes cover the broad spectrum of content needed by managers and directors in nonprofit organizations. The seventh course serves as a capstone in which students will utilize the knowledge they’ve acquired to analyze a case and present their findings to the class.

Christie Lypka served as executive director for several nonprofit organizations including United Way, Habitat for Humanity, and Court Appointed Special Advocates and has extensive experience in all aspects of nonprofit management. She holds a bachelor degree in Criminal Justice and Administration and a master degree in Organizational Leadership from Concordia University. Realizing the need for practical training in nonprofit management, Lypka collaborated with CEPD to create a seven-course certificate. She states, “I look forward to teaching the classes in a fun and interactive way!” Lypka is a published author who is active in the community and enjoys spending time with her family.
