Changes in the Business Development Center at Schoolcraft College


As you know the Business Development Center at Schoolcraft College consists of the Michigan Small Business and Technology Development Center (MI-SBTDC) and Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC). The MI-SBTDC provides assistance for business start-up and growth while the PTAC assists established businesses with government contracting.

Effective September 1st, Tammy Thomson the PTAC Program Manager, moved to the MI-SBTDC team as the Manager of Program Services. In her new role, she will manage the SBTDC program at Schoolcraft College and provide business consulting services to SBTDC clients. After Tammy’s 15 years working with the PTAC program, she is excited for the challenges of her new job.

Jann Deane, former PTAC Counselor, has assumed the position as PTAC Program Manager. Jann has worked with the PTAC program for the past nine years and is well-qualified to move into this position. Jann’s new role will move her into managing the PTAC program as well as continuing to provide consulting services to PTAC clients. Jann is looking forward to her new role. Please also welcome Donna Cappabianca and Holly Johnston, both PTAC Technicians who will be glad to assist you.
