DLA BSM

Are you Familiar with Business Systems Modernization?

The Business Systems Modernization (BSM) Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Bid Board System (DIBBS), found at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil, is a Web-based application that enables the vendor community to search for, view, and submit secure quotes on Requests for Quotations for items of supply included in the DLA BSM program.

In November 2004, DLA began adding items and users into BSM during regularly sequenced rollouts. Currently, the BSM Supplier Information Resource Center at http://www.dla.mil/j-6/bsm/sirc, provides information on the item/user rollouts. Through BSM DIBBS, users can search for and view Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Invitations for Bid (IFBs), awards and other procurement information related to BSM.

Eventually, Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC), Defense Supply Center Richmond (DSCR) and Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) will use BSM DIBBS so vendors may search, view and bid on RFPs and IFBs. In the meantime, the following will be used:

The BSM NSN/FSC Query Database, found at https://www.webflis.dlis.dla.mil/WEBFLIS/ASPscripts/pub_search_BSM.aspx currently can be used to determine if a particular National Stock Number or Federal Supply Class is included in the BSM Program.
