Transcripts

Transcripts are valuable assessment and course placement tools. Credit for courses taken at other colleges and prerequisite waivers can be determined by providing official high school and college transcripts.

A high school transcript may be required if a student is applying for one of the limited enrollment programs, regardless of previous college attendance.

High School Transcripts

Often students apply for admission to Schoolcraft College before completing their senior year of high school. Request a transcript when you apply for admission to the College and then after your final high school semester is complete. Students who have earned fewer than 24 college credit hours must submit their high school transcripts. (Transcript request forms)

Transfer Student Transcripts

All transfer students are requested to submit official copies of their transcripts from all previous colleges attended. Grades are not transferred; only credits and courses are recorded. Students who have earned fewer than 24 college credit hours must submit their high school transcripts. (Transcript request forms)

Guest Student Transcripts

Guest students must request their transcript be sent to their home institution at the completion of their guest enrollment at Schoolcraft College.

Schoolcraft students who attend another college as a guest student must request their transcript be sent to Schoolcraft College at the completion of their guest enrollment. (Transcript request forms)

International Transcript Evaluation Services

Students who have taken coursework from colleges located outside of the United States may have their transcripts evaluated for equivalent U.S. credit. Schoolcraft College uses the Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE) for this course-by-course evaluation. Applications are available on campus in the Admissions & Enrollment Center or Counseling.

Request a Schoolcraft College Transcript

To forward academic grade transcripts to another educational institution or business, students must make a written request or complete a request form in the Admissions & Enrollment Center in the McDowell Center, room MC240. Transcripts are issued only after students have fulfilled all financial obligations to the College.

Only transcripts bearing the Schoolcraft College seal are considered official. There is no charge for transcripts. (Transcript request forms)
