1.) Take a tour.

​2.) Apply for ​admission.

Complete and submit Application for Admission online via WebAdvisor.

3.) Submit your placement test scores.

To ensure proper course placement, students entering Schoolcraft College must demonstrate ability in reading, writing and math.

First Year Students:
Send ACT/SAT Scores to the Records Office if taken within the last three years - ORTake a placement test in our Testing Center.

Transfer Students:
Students with college transfer credits or placement test scores from other institutions should meet with an advisor before testing.


4.) Submit your transcript.

First Year Students:
Send high school transcripts and/or GED scores to the Schoolcraft Records Office in the McDowell Center, email to or fax to 734-462-4506.

Transfer Students:
Official college transcripts must be sent directly from the transfer institution’s Registrar’s Office to the Schoolcraft Records Office. Electronic transcripts are the fastest and easiest way to have your transcripts sent to Schoolcraft College. Contact your school for further instructions. 


5.) Login to your email account.

Access your SCmail account at top header of New students will receive an official acceptance letter from Schoolcraft College that will provide them with their WebAdvisor login information and SCmail email address. It is mandatory that you use your SCmail account for all college and class email correspondence.

6.) Attend orientation.

Complete the necessary steps for enrollment, learn more about Schoolcraft College life and campus services and discover how to be a successful student.

7.) Apply to financial aid.

There are lots of resources to help you pay for college. We can take you step-by-step through the process for securing scholarships, grants, loans and more.

8.) Meet with an advisor.

Explore your academic options, create an educational plan and select your classes.

9.) Register for classes.

You’ve done the prep work. Now it’s time for taking the exciting step to register for your classes and start or continue your program venture! You can register in two methods.

10.) Pay tuition and fees.

Schoolcraft College offers a Tuition Payment plan and also accepts cash, checks, debit cards, money orders, VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover for payment of tuition and fees. For more information, click on the Payment Options link in WebAdvisor.
