Homeland security personnel are a critical part of our society. They help secure U.S. borders, airports, seaports and waterways; research and develop the latest security technologies; respond to natural disasters or terrorist assaults; and analyze intelligence reports to prevent, detect, and deter threats to the homeland. Our homeland security associate in applied science degree program can provide you with a foundation of private and homeland security knowledge and prepare you for transfer to a four-year institution with classes in criminal justice, communications, and emergency management.
